What Does Melania Trump Eat? 4 Simple Rules Of The First Lady's Diet

It seems our First Lady Melania Trump mostly keeps to herself, and we really don’t know much about her. One of the things many people are interested in is how she manages to stay so youthful and glowing at the age of 48. Well, her good looks probably have to do with diet. It’s not that she follows any diet rules very strictly, and there isn’t anything special about her eating habits. 1. She starts the day with a healthy breakfast.

It’s one of the rules many of us should adopt for our own good. Several years ago, Melania said in an interview with GQ that she usually has either a bowl of oatmeal or a fruit smoothie “with a few ingredients and lots of vitamins in it” for breakfast.

2. She eats plenty of fruits.

3. She indulges herself (occasionally).

You may think Melania avoids anything sugary to stay slim, but that’s not true! She is not averse to sweet stuff, especially chocolate. She said:

I don’t have a particular snack I always eat. If I would snack, I would snack on maybe fruit or a little bit of chocolate, because I think your body needs that, too.

The First Lady even treats herself to ice-cream every now and then, and she believes moderation is key:

It’s good to indulge cravings and your tastes once in a while… as long as you balance those things with healthy foods.

4. She doesn’t believe in fad diets.

Melania avoids fad diets; she eats balanced and healthy meals. Her daily menu has to include fruits and vegetables, and she drinks plenty of water. Also, she doesn’t eat fatty or rich foods very often. After her son Barron was born, Melania ate a healthy diet (as she always had done before) and went to Pilates classes a few times a week to “get back into shape.
