Tough Little Sister: Overprotective Princess Charlotte May Be The One Looking After George At School, Based On The Queen's Words

Royal fans have watched Princess Charlotte and Prince George as they grow up and interact with each other. When they are seen in public, people can make a guess at their personalities. For instance, Charlotte has been known to be more engaging with the camera by smiling, waving and even sticking out her tongue.

So it was no surprise when a royal insider told Us Weekly that Charlotte is the same way in private. She was described as "very bubbly" and the one with the "biggest character" among all the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Tough little sister
Now that Princess Charlotte is attending the same school as her brother George, one might expect that being the older one and the one who has been in the school for longer, George will look out for his little sister. But based on the Queen’s words, this may not be the case.

In 2018, a 10-year-old girl named Emily Clay won a bible signed by Queen Elizabeth for a school project. According to Eastern Daily Press, Her Majesty spoke to Emily about her project and asked if she "looked after" her younger sister Hadleigh in school.
Emily’s mother Ellen said in reply:
It’s the other way around.
Evidently, this turned out to be the case for Her Majesty’s great-grandchildren as the Queen responded:
It’s like that with Charlotte and George.

Emily’s father Tom later told the publication that the Queen implied that Charlotte was the one who kept an eye out for George and not the other way around.
Things may change though
While Princess Charlotte may seem like the more outspoken and assertive one, this doesn’t mean George can’t step in as a big brother when needed.

Prince George was happy and proud as he and his parents escorted Charlotte on her first day of school. We’ll like to think he’s excited to show his little sister around.
