Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children are lucky to have such hands-on parents despite their privileged life. The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge try their best to provide normal childhood to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
An insider told The Sun that Kate and William have a huge “desire” to give their kids a typical childhood. They were inspired by Princess Diana’s parenting approach, and therefore, the royal parents do not want their children to live “in a gilded bubble.”

In October, Duchess Catherine brought her children to watch their father’s soccer game, and it was saying a lot about their family. An aide told PEOPLE:
It was natural and lovely. That’s just how they are. They know what’s coming [as they near the throne] and want to give their kids as normal a start as possible.

Do Kate Middleton and Prince William’s kids know they are going to reign the UK one day? Nope. During a conversation with the BBC, the future King said:
There’ll be a time and place to bring George up and understand how he fits in, in the world. But right now, it’s just a case of keeping a secure, stable environment around him and showing as much love as I can as a father.
