At some point, their conversation moved to one of the most widely discussed topics of the last few months – sexual harassment. But when the interviewer asked her whether she ever had such an experience, Sharon Stone just laughed. And she laughed hard, for literally 10 seconds.

At first, Cowan was confused by her reaction:

You’re laughing, but I don’t know if that’s a nervous laugh? Or [an] ‘Are you kidding me, of course I was’ laugh.

But there were no signs of nervousness in Sharon’s expression, only a light shadow of amusement. And then, the actress explained her reaction.

I’ve been in this business for 40 years,” reminded Stone. “Can you imagine the business I stepped into 40 years ago? Looking like I look, from Nowhere, Pennsylvania?

She then added:

I didn’t come here with any protection – I’ve seen it all.
