Many revelations about Whitney Houston’s personal life came to light after her tragic untimely death in 2012. However, it seems that the most important secret has been kept under wraps.
One of Whitney’s closest friends was her personal assistant Robyn Crawford. They met when they were teens and remained close until about 2000, when Robyn suddenly left the singer’s team. Speculations that the two women were more than friends have been going on for years.
Whitney denied having a romance with Robyn, and Robyn herself has remained silent about the rumors. Until now, that is.
Robyn is set to open up about her relationship with Whitney
It seemed that all of Whitney’s secrets were out, but, as it turns out, the woman who probably knew the iconic singer better than anyone has much more to tell.
Robyn’s candid memoir about her relationship with Whitney is titled A Song for You: My Life with Whitney Houston. It will become available on November 5 this year.
According to a release from the publisher, Dutton, the new book details “the moving and often complicated story of [Robyn’s] life and relationship with Whitney.”
It will be the first time Whitney’s fans will get to know the story in Robyn’s own words. However, others who were in the late singer’s circle have spoken about the romance before.
