Sarah Ferguson Shares An Exclusive Photo With Eugenie And Beatrice To Promote An Important Cause
Love her or hate her, but Sarah Ferguson is a great mom to her two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. She raised them right, sparking their interest in charity work from a young age.
The Duchess of York and her daughters are involved with multiple charity organizations, both in the UK and internationally. Among other important causes, the trio supports the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides resources to young cancer patients.
A special visit on a special day
February 4 is World Cancer Day, so Sarah, Eugenie, and Beatrice took it as an opportunity to raise awareness about the important cause.
The family visited Alder Hey Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, a facility funded by the Teenage Cancer Trust. They also met with the charity’s founders, Dr. Adrian and Myrna Whiteson. The Duchess shared a picture from the visit, writing in the caption:

On World Cancer Day, I am thinking of friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease. I have been a proud supporter of @teenage_cancer and its founders Dr Adrian and Myrna Whiteson since 1990 and @teencanceramerica and now Beatrice and Eugenie are too. Together we can help more people beat cancer.
Princess Eugenie, who has been quite open about her own health struggles, also posted a picture with the caption:

On #worldcancerday I’m looking back to my visit to Alder Hey Teenage Cancer Trust Unit. @teenage_cancer brings world class cancer care to young people across the UK and alongside my sister Bea and mum @sarahferguson15 I’m a proud patron of this special charity.
Sarah is a proud mom (and a proud ex-wife)
The Duchess of York has an active social media presence and often posts pictures of her lovely daughters and her former husband, Prince Andrew (with whom she’s on very good terms).
Sarah also helps bring attention to good causes her family promotes, especially helping disadvantaged children.
Another important cause that is dear to her and her family’s hearts is cardiovascular health, and Sarah supports the British Heart Foundation.
These are just a few of the many good things she does, and that deserves respect and admiration!
