Actress and director Roseanne Barr is a real-life Trump supporter as well as her character “Roseanne Conner” on the long-awaited reboot of famous 1988 sitcom “Roseanne”.

When she was asked why she made her character a Trump supporter, she said:
I have always attempted to portray a realistic portrait of American working class people, and it was working class people who elected Trump. So it was very real and something that needed to be discussed.
The first episode of the reboot premiered on Tuesday evening and scored huge ratings with an average of 18.2 million viewers, which is the second-best rating of any scripted TV episode all year. The success of the show couldn’t be left unnoticed even by Mr. President.

President Trump called Roseanne Barr to congratulate her on the success of the reboot. According to The New York Times, he said he was “enthralled” with “Roseanne’s” “huge” ratings and also thanked Barr for being his supporter.

Roseanne Barr is officially the Trump’s family favorite celebrity now. Donald’s eldest daughter Ivanka started following Barr on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., took to Twitter to voice his opinion:
