First, Bea and Edoardo had to postpone their engagement party and move it to a more private location as it was scheduled a little over a week after the Duke of York announced his stepping down from royal duties.

Later, Andrew decided to not show up to the event whatsoever in order to give his daughter and her fiancee some privacy, which, we can imagine, was hard on Beatrice. And now, the royal bride has one more thing to give up.

Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding is off for the public

We’re so used to seeing our favorite royals tie the knot on TV that it has become one of the most anticipated events of the given year. Royal fans are always glued to their screen watching beautiful brides, including Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and Princess Eugenie, walk down the aisle and say ‘I do’ with so much love in their eyes.

However, Princess Beatrice won’t be able to share this joy with fans as both ITV and BBC announced that they will not be broadcasting the royal nuptials as part of their daytime schedule, Daily Mail reports.

Experts believe that the situation surrounding Prince Andrew has become so ‘toxic’ that the royals had no other choice but to celebrate Bea’s wedding privately.

Andrew’s daughters still stand by their father

Ever since Prince Andrew quit royal duties ‘for the foreseeable future’, his close family, Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice in particular, have stood by him.

The Duchess of York said in an interview with Vogue Arabia:

…the last six months have been hard on the girls and me.

And yet, the three women don’t give up on the Duke of York and believe their support is crucial at this time as they’re worried about their mental health.

A source close to the family told The Daily Beast:

They have been through a hell of a lot and they have never turned on each other which is really pretty extraordinary when you think about it.
