Priscilla Presley Reacts To Reports That She's Planning To Be Laid To Rest Next To Elvis At Graceland
Priscilla Presley’s fans were worried sick after reports emerged that she’s secretly planning her own funeral at Graceland.
Radar Online reported that the 73-year-old “secretly reached out to Graceland’s trustees about being buried there” as she “still thinks of herself as Elvis’s widow and her rightful resting place is next to him.” The piece also appeared in print on the pages of the National Enquirer.
The article also stated that Priscilla’s skin cancer scare last year (whether she actually had cancer is unconfirmed) made her start thinking about mortality and prepare for her departure.
What does Priscilla herself have to say about the reports? She took to social media and insisted that they are not true.
“Don’t plan my funeral just yet, I’m very healthy”
The reports about her planning her burial at Graceland next to Elvis reached Priscilla, and she was greatly amused by them.
She went on Twitter and reassured her fans that she’s not dying and “never planned on being buried next to Elvis:”
This is the Enquirer folks… please don’t believe everything you read. Don’t plan my funeral just yet, I’m very healthy. Never planned on being buried next to Elvis. What will they come up with next!? 🤣
