Today. she’s a famous member of the royal family, but before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was an actress who had her own strong fanbase. Those fans may be hoping for her to return to the screens but chances are, that may never happen.

A strong TV career

Meghan was most famous for being a series regular on the TV show ‘Suits’. Before then she has participated in other TV projects and even appeared in such movies as ‘Remember Me,‘ and ‘Horrible Bosses‘.

There’s no doubt that if her acting career wasn’t cut short, she would be an even bigger star today.

Could she go back?

Meghan Markle announced that she was saying goodbye to acting after her engagement to Prince Harry. While she hasn’t given any indication that she might go back on these plans, those who appreciate her talent may be hoping for a return to the screens.

According to actor Kevin Costner, however, this isn’t likely to happen. During an interview on Lorraine, Costner implied that Meghan cannot return to acting because Harry won’t be happy about it.

Evidently, the fact that Prince Harry would be jealous of seeing his wife doing romantic scenes will not go down well with him.

A joke on the red carpet

Meghan seemingly doesn’t have any regrets about giving up acting. When she and her husband were on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Lion King’, she made a joke about her acting career while speaking to actor Billy Eichner.

According to Eichner, Meghan congratulated him on his acting career and he returned the compliment.

So, it’s safe to say her acting days are behind her and being able to make jokes like this is a sign that she doesn’t have a problem with how things turned out.
