Prince Charles Surprises With The Short Name List For Meghan And Harry’s Future Baby

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon become a family of three, as Meghan has recently confirmed she is indeed expecting a baby. The couple is expected to welcome their first child this spring.

Now, people are making suggestions regarding the possible names of their future baby.

Fortunately, Prince Charles provided us with a shortlist.

As reported by the ENews, Prince Charles suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to break the royal protocol and give their future child more modern name than it is required by the tradition.

During his recent speech on Australia House, the Prince of Wales mentioned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent trip to the land down under, where they got plenty of ideas regarding the forthcoming child’s name.

He said:

Just between us… just between us, I suspect that Kylie and Shane may possibly make the short list. But ladies and gentlemen I would not hold your breath for Edna or Les.

Nevertheless, Harry and Meghan have to follow certain baby name rule. They can’t announce the name immediately right after the birth since they have to wait a day or two in order to share it publicly.

As reported by Town and Country, there isn’t one specific reason for the delay. The commentator Victoria Arbiter said:

The reasoning is perhaps two fold. On one hand there’s a desire to inform the families before a public declaration is made and any new parent appreciates having a little private time to get to know their new addition before the onslaught of announcements.

Even though Prince Charles has revealed the royal baby name list, we have to wait for a while until we know the exact name. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby is expected in spring 2019, and we are looking forward to this news.
