Pink’s hairstyles have always gotten almost as much attention as her music. She has been spotted rocking all kinds of edgy looks and colors in the course of her musical career.
In general, though, the singer loves to keep her hair short. And there’s a heartwarming reason for that.
When Pink came out to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 VMAs, she shared a sweet story about how her daughter said she didn’t feel pretty. While encouraging the young girl, the singer stated that she never felt the need to grow her hair long despite the fact that people often accused her of looking manly with short hair.
Pink’s heartwarming story shows that she accepts herself for who she is and doesn’t consider her hairstyle as a reflection of her talent.
Shaving it all off and letting go
Once again proving that her hair doesn’t make or break her, Pink recently posted a photo that showed that she had shaved off her locks.
The Funhouse singer displayed her newly-shaven look on Instagram. The picture shows her looking downwards while holding some bits of her hair in her hands.
In the caption of the photo, she wrote:
Letting Go.
Fans were so inspired by this change that not only did they compliment her, some people even shared that they were considering doing the same.
