Photoshop Fail: Kim Kardashian's Latest Post Is Getting Tons Of Backlash For Being 'Over Edited'
It’s not the first time a celebrity has suffered from a bad edit on one of their pictures. Kim was in Washington DC for the ‘March for Our Lives’ where she suffered a Photoshop fail.
Kim Kardashian lost 100K followers on Instagram
In 2017, the selfie queen reportedly lost 100,000 followers on Instagram, and it looked like un-retouched pictures of her were to blame.
She faced major backlash after photos from her Mexico getaway surfaced online. The mother of three was photographed enjoying the summer heat as she spent time with friends and sister Kourtney at the beach.
In the paparazzi images, the reality star could be seen sporting skimpy swimsuits, which revealed her backside. The unflattering photos of Kim have led to speculations that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been digitally enhancing her Instagram images for years to create “unrealistic” pictures of herself.
Dismayed fans were quick to criticize the reality star, accusing her of being “fake” and “misleading.”
Kim Kardashian’s new Photoshop fail
If you’re someone who keeps up with the Kardashians on the regular, then you’re aware that this isn’t the first time – nor likely will it be that last time – that one of the famous ladies has been accused of Photoshopping their social media pics.
On Saturday, March 24th, the makeup mogul was in Washington, D.C. for the ‘March for Our Lives’ rally against gun violence with husband Kanye West and their daughter North. Kim decided to share a picture of herself.
On first glance, it’s a nice shot of her sporting a fashionable peach Yeezy jacket over a gray top and bike shorts. But after further inspection, something about the photo wasn’t quite right.
If you’re still scrambling around for clues as to what’s gone wrong in the above picture, take a look at the curvy lines on the floor to Kim’s left. Comments were disabled after fans began claiming it was edited.
Fans reacted negatively to this situation
The Kardashians have been accused of presenting doctored pictures on Instagram before, but the signs are usually harder to spot than in Kim’s latest post. People were confused by Kim’s photo and as usual went online to share their thoughts.
A bit embarrassed, the mum-of-three disabled comments on the post. However, she left the post up, which can only mean she’s unfazed by the critics.
In Kim’s defense, we’re all guilty of adding a filter to a picture to make ourselves look a little better every once in a while.
