Her charm won her the attention of Beatles band member, George Harrison. This was during the band’s first film, A Hard Day’s Night, in 1964. The pair were later married. Pattie was 21 and George was 22 at the time.

Despite her divorce, Pattie says George was her one true love

While speaking in an interview with The Times magazine, Pattie was asked who her one true love was. She said it was George. The blonde siren added, “Even after we split he was always my friend. We’d still speak on the phone."

The marriage between George Harrison and Pattie Boyd was short. Fellow band member and guitarist Eric Clapton fell in love with Pattie, and the duo had an affair.

Pattie was unsure about leaving George, but Eric insisted. He even threatened to ruin his life with heroin if she refused to do so. Pattie eventually succumbed to his advances after this threat. She got a divorce from George in 1974.

Life after George

Pattie, now 73, is married to her third husband, property developer Rod Weston. After being in a relationship for over 25 years, they tied the knot in 2015 at the Kensington and Chelsea Registry Office. Friends and family attended the event.

Back in 2007, Pattie described Rod as "very supportive" and "comfortable to be with". It is clear he has stayed that way over the years.
