Man Touchingly Sings Garth Brooks' 'Friends In Low Places' For 36 Hours Straight To Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

Cliff Satterwhite, a karaoke host from Seattle area, set out to complete an unusual fundraising challenge: He sang Garth Brook’s hit song Friends in Low Places for 36 hours straight in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. His goal was to raise $10,000 for charity.

The karaoke master takes part in ‘Real Men Wear Pink’ campaign, which helps in the fight against breast cancer. Satterwhite’s sister is a survivor of this disease, so the cause is very close to his heart.

Before the marathon, Cliff told Q13 Fox News he had already completed the challenge several years ago, so he was confident he’d do it successfully again:

My attempt will feature one singer, one song, no sleep breaks and only a 2-5 minute break between songs for water, food and bathroom, that’s really what sets it apart.

And once again Cliff did it! 36 hours of the same song, but Cliff persevered and came out on top. Maybe he’ll make the marathon an annual thing?
