Love Till The End! Music Star Celine Dion Hopes She Will Meet Her Lovely Husband René Angélil Again
Three years since the death of her husband René Angélil, iconic singer Celine Dion is learning to live her best life with the hopes of meeting him again. René passed away from throat cancer at the age of 74 in 2016.
Celine and René’s love story
Angélil, who was Dion’s only love, met the artist when she was 12 years old. He helped her to become one of the most celebrated singers of all time.
A few years later, they began a romantic relationship but, because of Celine’s career and their 26-year age gap, they decided to keep it private. The couple got married in 1994 and welcomed three sons.
Celine revealed that Angélil spent the last three years before his death in agony. He was eating through a tube.
Many have wondered if the iconic singer is ever going to marry again. Céline believes it is too soon for her, as she’s still in love with Angélil and feels like she’s married to him.
Till we meet again
In an interview with Elle magazine, the Grammy Award singer said her life started over at the age of 50. She said:
I am like a one-year-old! I’m not saying that I don’t care what people think of me, but I’ve reached a point in my life where I can let myself make my own decisions and choices.
“Now I am discovering myself more and more. I am a woman assuming her own destiny, full of energy and in love with life. It’s never too late to start. At 51, I have the sense that I am at my pinnacle!
The singer, who is living her best life, has two movies about her currently in development. She would also kick off her Courage World Tour on September 18.
The 51-year-old says that the end of Celine is ‘bittersweet’ because it is closure following the death of her late husband. Celine also noted that the whole project started as a dream for herself and René, saying:
You know what? It’s a book. And in life, there are many books. So maybe we’ll meet again and talk about the next book, I hope?
I am single
The iconic singer has gotten tired of rumors about a possible new relationship. The star has often been spotted with her handsome dancer, Pepe Munoz.
She explained everything in an interview with The Sun, saying:
Oh my God, René just passed and now there’s another man. Yeah, there’s another man in my life, but not The man in my life.
We’re friends, we’re best friends… I am single,’ please, leave me alone, thanks.
