Kendall Jenner Shares Her Surprising New Year's Resolution
2017 has been an exciting year for Kendall Jenner. Her crowning glory was being named highest earning model of the year. She clinched the top spot, pushing supermodel Gisele Bundchen out of the way. This on its own is a feat worth mentioning as, Gisele has held down the position since 2002.
In all, Kendall raked in the mind-numbing sum of $22 million dollars, as at June 2017. This is a couple of millions more than Gisele, who had a pretty successful year herself but earned $17.5 million. Clearly, the numbers must have gone up a notch by now, but Kendall is still clearly in the lead.
For the young model, a big part of her income was thanks to her Instagram account. She has over 85 million followers, and this continues to make her a brand favorite. Estée Lauder, La Perla, and Adidas are some of her major endorsers.
She also has made a decent amount appearing on the Kardashian’s TV show, as well as earnings from the clothing line she co-owns with fellow model sister, Kylie.
New Year Resolutions
Kendall recently shared her New Year Resolution through a very bold statement on her website. Essentially, she announced the end of her popular Kendall app.
As I look ahead to next year, my goals and priorities are changing. I’ve had an incredible 2+ years connecting to all of you, but I’ve made the difficult decision to no longer update my app in 2018. I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as I have, and am looking forward to sharing the next chapter with you. Love, Kendall.

This news was not received well by her millions of fans. The Kendall app was very popular on the Apple Store and Google Play. For a monthly fee of $2.99, users had access to Kendall’s personal style diary. She offered subscribers regular shopping, style, and beauty tips, among other content.
The model is yet to make public her reasons for shutting down the app and if there is any likelihood of it returning anytime soon. Her notice may sound cryptic, but it seems like Kendall is redirecting her energies to new endeavors in the coming year.
Another model in the works?
Next year is already looking rosy for the model. She is also excited for her sister Khloe who recently announced that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
It is likely Khloe may take some time off her career, before and after the baby is born. But knowing the Kardashians, it is likely that she will bounce back better and bigger than ever.
