Kathy revealed the sad news at the beginning of 2019. Since that time, the star constantly shares updates about her mom’s condition on social media.
On June 10, Griffin released an emotional post to reveal that her mom’s dementia battle gets worse. This day, Maggie Griffin celebrates her 99th birthday.
Kathy shared a sweet throwback picture with her mom to recall “better times.”

In one of her latest interviews, Griffin got candid how she copes with her beloved parent’s disease.
She said:
I know this is a reality that millions of people deal with every year. But when it comes to my mom this is particularly hard because her sharp mind was everything.
