Judy Garland's Daughter Lorna Luft Is Diagnosed With Brain Tumor After Collapsing Backstage
In 2015, Lorna Luft, a daughter of iconic Judy Garland, announced that she had finally beaten stage 2 breast cancer after three years of battle. The road to remission was long as the singer had to undergo surgery and many months of chemotherapy. But now, a condition seems to strike back.
Cancer battles
When Garland’s daughter got to know she had cancer back in 2012, she didn’t accept the diagnosis. In fact, she delayed every necessary procedure.

Upon finding a lump in one of her breasts, Lorna didn’t rush to the hospital. She only went there when her friends urged her. She also postponed biopsy to perform in a show in the United Kingdom. Luckily, doctors still managed to catch cancer early enough to treat it.

Unfortunately, while one cancer went into remission, another tumor developed. During a concert in London a few days ago, Lorna collapsed backstage and was rushed to the hospital by her husband who was concerned that she was forgetting the lyrics. There, doctors diagnosed the singer with a brain tumor.

Addiction battles
But cancer is not the only disorder Luft had to fight. Just like her screen legend mother who was known to have drug addiction, Lorna fell victim herself, doing cocaine. But when she decided she wanted to have kids, the singer sought help at an addiction center.

She won two main battles, and we hope the third one will be successful too!
