Josh Brolin Has Nothing Else To Say About The Diane Lane Domestic Abuse Incident
The Josh Brolin and Diane Lane domestic abuse saga of 2004 still manages to rear its ugly head long after the stars called their relationship quits. At the time, a publicist for the couple signed off the incident as a misunderstanding.
However, it did not seem as simple as she suggested. Lane called 911, claiming that Brolin hit her. The “Avengers: Infinity War” star ended up in arrested and charged with domestic battery. A publicist representing the couple later said that the incident had escalated quickly.
Lane never filed a case against Brolin and the details of the incident were never fully revealed to the public. Now, according to New York Times, Brolin says that he is done talking about the incident, as he has no new information to share.
The only person who can explain that would be Diane, and she’s chosen not to, so I’m O.K. with that.
Before the #MeToo movement swept across America, Brolin was often asked about the incident, and he always tried to explain what happened that night. Despite the awkwardness, he said now was a good time to finally lay the matter to rest.
People need to know the truth.’ Whatever I say is going to sound like compensation for a perpetrator. I’ve gotten to a place where all that matters is that I have control over my behavior, and at that time, it was a little more chaotic.

Whether Lane will speak about the incident anytime soon is uncertain, but Brolin is clearly moving past it. Last month, Brolin announced that he was expecting a baby girl with his wife model Kathryn Boyd. The couple shared a picture of Boyd on Instagram showing off her baby bump.

Boyd is already 20 weeks pregnant and the 50-year-old actor is delighted that he is going to be a father again. Brolin has two grown children from his previous marriage. His daughter, Eden, is 28 and his son, Trevor, is 30 this month.
Besides that, Brolin also has his hands full with work. With “Deadpool 2” making waves and “Sicario: Day of the Soldado” hitting theaters on June 29, he has a lot to take his mind of the past and into the bright future.
