Anthony Mackie’s painful road to divorce
The famous actor has always been very secretive about his personal life. In 2014, he secretly married his childhood sweetheart Sheletta Chapital. The news broke only six months after they wed.
Anthony and Sheletta were happy together since grade school and seemed like nothing could ever go wrong with their relationship.

But the fairytale wasn’t meant to last. According to TMZ, Mackie and his wife filed for divorce in 2017 and finalized their split in 2018, once again in secret. The reason for their decision was not revealed.

The couple shared three children together, with their oldest boy born in 2009.
