Hurrah! Princess Madeleine Of Sweden Welcomes Her Third Baby
Last year, Swedish Princess Madeleine announced she was expecting another baby with husband, Chris O’Neill. The baby was due in March. Although the couple resides in London since Chris O’Neill works there, they decided to have the baby born in Sweden.
Together, they flew to Sweden in mid-February this year in preparation for the delivery. And since the couple does not live in Sweden, they are expected to pay the hospital bills themselves.
A Royal birth
According to a statement by the Swedish Royal court, Princess Madeleine gave birth on Friday 9 March at 00:41am. The baby is a girl.
The new baby joins siblings Princess Leonore (4) and Prince Nicolas (2).

Proud father Chris was at the delivery and he said "We are thrilled about the new addition to our family. Leonore and Nicolas are looking very much forward to finally meet their new little sister."
Worry about a delivery in Sweden
Swedish law provides free services to all residents. But this law posed a concern to Princess Madeleine. She did not want to be seen as being pampered by the state. So, she insisted on reiterating that she was paying her medical bills like other non-residents.
Her first child was born in New York. The second was born in Sweden. We say congratulations and wish the royals all the best.
