Mickey Jones, the only person in the universe who went from drumming for Bob Dylan on the night he was excoriated as “Judas” to a recurring role on a Tim Allen sitcom, has died. We definitely will not see his like again. RIP

Mickey Jones, the giant of a man whom Dylan himself chose to replace Levon Helm on drums in The Band, has died. He was a musician, and later, an actor; appropriately, his life had the epic trajectory and randomness of a great Bob Dylan song. RIP. pic.twitter.com/01ipHP9Of1
