Her mini-journey through cancer
Years ago, an eagle-eyed viewer had spotted an unusual lump on Norville’s neck. She was alarmed by it and immediately got it checked. However, at that time doctors only diagnosed it to be a thyroid nodule. Nonetheless, Deborah was thankful for a heads up by the fan and kept getting it checked every year.
In an interview to Fox News, the anchor had earlier revealed she is to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid nodule on Tuesday. It had shaped into a localized form of cancer. She had not opted for chemo or any type of radiation but, will be off the radar to get proper treatment.
And now, she has updated that the operation was successful. Ain’t it wonderful?
