Meghan Markle has already got a new job since she and Prince Harry announced they are stepping down as senior royals.
Harry and Meghan: royal timeline
- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a majestic wedding ceremony in May 2018.
- In their first joint interview after the engagement announcement, Meghan Markle explained her decision to quit acting career. She said:
It’s a new chapter.
- After their wedding, Harry and Meghan have been honored with the royal titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
- In May 2019, the Sussexes welcomed their first child together: son Archie Harrison.
- In January 2020, following their 6-week Christmas break, Meghan and Harry shocked the world community with their decision to quit from the royal family as seniors.
Meghan Markle’s new job
Meghan Markle seems to keep her and Harry’s promise to be “financially independent” as the Duchess has reportedly got a new job. According to reports, Meghan signed a voiceover deal with Disney.
Considering the fact that Meghan Markle is a former actress (fans know her by the role of Rachel Zane in the popular series Suits), her choice is pretty understandable. Moreover, soon after the Sussexes’ announcement, royal watchers began speculating that the Duchess would return to acting.
What about Harry?
There’ve been rumors that Meghan received her job in Disney before she and Harry announced their resigning. Moreover, royal watchers suggested that Prince Harry helped his beloved wife to get the job.
The matter is that Harry was spotted talking to Disney SEO Bob Iger when he and Meghan attended The Lion King premiere in summer.
Harry was reportedly heard saying to Bob Iger:
You know she does voiceovers.

Royal family’s reaction
Meanwhile, the Queen and other members of the royal family are no so happy about the Sussexes’ resigning.
Reports claim that Harry and Meghan didn’t consult senior royals before sharing the post on Instagram. Moreover, Harry’s grandmother Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth allegedly had no idea about her grandson and his wife’s plans.

As for Prince William and Kate Middleton, they also are not happy about the Sussexes’ decision. William is heartbroken that he couldn’t count on his younger brother any longer. And Kate feels “hurt”, according to an insider’s information.
Well, we are happy for Meghan Markle and wish her success in her new job. It seems like the Duchess of Sussex will soon transform into the Disney Princess. Maybe, Harry will get the role of a charming prince. It would be so cute!
