Nobody is fail-proof – even the most scrupulous newspaper editors.

Recently, one rather "naughty" typo in an article about Julia Roberts put the Hollywood actress in into an awkward situation, giving net users a good laugh and creating quite a few spin-off jokes.

The New York newspaper The Post-Journal published an article with the headline: "Julia Roberts Finds Life And Her Roles Get Better With Age." The only problem is the unfortunate typo where "roles" was printed as "holes."

The paper later published a correction. However, by then, netizens were unstoppable!

Some people on the internet even jokingly said that Richard Gere would probably be interested in filming a sequel to Pretty Woman after reading this article. And one Jamestown resident thinks that the funny typo helped their local newspaper get famous.

By the way, this case is not the first one in the history of journalism. For instance, this newspaper’s editors turned this ambidextrous sportsman (the ability to pitch with either arm) into an amphibian!
