If we look back, certain people in our past seem to be the building blocks of who we are now. Sometimes, without even being vital, they shape our today. Barbra Streisand is experiencing the loss of a similar human-asset!

The peppery voice-holder, Clydie King, whose plain backing vocals defined many mega-hits of the Rolling Stones and Linda Ronstadt has died the age of 75. Clydie King has also sung below the vocals of Barbra Streisand for her song ‘ A Star Is Born‘. They seem to have countless memories in the 1980s era of producing music together in the studios where every sound was organic and pure. Losing Clydie is a personal trauma to Barbra!

Streisand shared a throwback photo of her and Clydie working side by side as they created musical magic. She paid a warm and heartfelt tribute to her beloved by captioning on Instagram:

Dearest C. It was so comforting to have you sing alongside me. We had so much fun together… making A Star is Born. May you rest in peace Clydie.

She was a partner to Bob Dylan

Adding to her long list of credits, Clydie had also served her remarkable talent to Bob Dylan as an equal. She was his ultimate singing partner. She recorded with Bob Dylan many times.

Bon once told Rolling Stone Magazine:

No one ever came close. We were two soulmates.

Rest in peace, Clydie King! Share this to pay your respects and send your prayers to the incredible lady.
