Ashton Kutcher Turns 40: He Spends $40,000 On Charity To Celebrate The Milestone
It’s really hard to believe Ashton Kutcher has turned 40 already. He has certainly come a long way, and this milestone is worth celebrating.
How far he has come
We were first introduced to the American actor when he portrayed the role of Michael Kelso in the sitcom ‘That ’70s Show’ in 1998. A year later, he starred in the romantic comedy, ‘Coming Soon.’
He has since appeared in a lot of other comedy films, including Dude, Where’s My Car? He later dabbled in reality projects when he created, produced, and hosted the show Punk’d.
These days, he is a happily married man.
His wife and kids
After he and actress Demi Moore split up in 2011, he met and began dating his former ‘That 70’s Show Star‘ Mila Kunis. The couple got engaged in February 2014, and their first child, Wyatt, was born that year. In 2015, they officially tied the knot, and a year later, their second child, Dimitri, was born.
In 2016, Mila gave fans a little bit more insight into how their relationship began. According to her, they started as friends with benefits, but that soon became something more concrete.
Referring to the fact that they were both in movies revolving around the concept of having friends they slept with, she said:
We were in similar movies and we should have paid attention to them because this doesn’t work in real life.
She was among the cast of ‘Friends With Benefits’, while he played the role of Adam Franklin in ‘No Strings Attached’.
Well, it sure did work out for them in real life. Today, they have built a strong and happy family from the foundation.
Celebrating his birthday by giving back
On February 7th, Ashton shared a Tweet announcing that he would match any donations made to the Thorn cause dollar for dollar. He was ready to give as much as $40,000.
We are a #forceforgood. For my 40th birthday, I will match the generosity of @thorn’s incredible community of supporters dollar for dollar up to $40,000.https://t.co/kF6cjpdpG2
