However, the Sussex duo decided to skip another important occasion on the royal calendar – the Royal Ascot. But why?

The reason could be very simple

Meghan Markle made her first debut at the prestigious horse racing last year when she appeared alongside her husband soon after their royal wedding. Nonetheless, this year the Sussex couple was a no-show.

Why did they decide to skip the Royal Ascot? It might be because the Duchess is still on the maternity leave and felt like the horse races is not an important event to break it for.
