American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has quite the story to tell. The media personality was denied entry into Jennifer Lopez’s lavish 50th birthday party in Miami.
J.Lo’s lavish birthday party
On July 24, pop star Jennifer Lopez turned 50 years old. To mark the milestone the mother of two threw one of the most lavish parties ever at Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s private home on Star Island in Miami.
The venue was decorated in gold and white with a towering black-and-gold multitiered cake and a bustling dance floor. The star-studded party was sponsored by clothing companies PrettyLittleThing and Quay Australia.

Fireworks were sent flying into the sky to mark the celebration at the end of the night.
Access denied!
Media personality Ryan Seacrest found himself in a very tricky situation. The Live With Kelly and Ryan cohost was denied entry into Jennifer Lopez’s 50th birthday party in Miami despite the fact that he was invited.

On a recent episode of the show, Ryan opened up about being denied entry into the celebration after flying in from New York City specifically for the party.
He said:
So I get to the front proud, beaming, smiling and [the guy] has a list and I see there are a bunch of Ryans … and he says, ‘Well, you’re not on the list. This is a true story. So I say, ‘Cleary there must be a mistake … she invited me personally. Can I see the list?’ Well, sure enough … there’s no Ryan Seacrest.

The American Idol host noted that he thought the man would grant him access knowing he and J.Lo were friends and have worked together. Instead, he was told to “wait under the fan” while a phone call was placed.

Ryan was eventually allowed into the star-studded party and sat with the birthday girl, but couldn’t stay long as he had a flight to catch.
Guests, including Jenifer’s fiancé Alex Rodriguez, DJ Khaled, Ashanti, and her twins Maximillian and Emme, were present at the bash.
