It could have been Alec Baldwin, with whom she reportedly had a ‘magic’ date in the 90s.

If you’ve ever thought about who was Jackie Kennedy’s boyfriend when she died, you probably never have imagined Alec Baldwin.
However, according to Carly Simon’s book Touched By the Sun, Jackie had a ‘magical night’ with the Hollywood star. She was 62 at that time and he was 31.

Baldwin and Kennedy joined Simon and her then-husband for a night out to see Dancing at Lughnasa. They all dressed up in wigs to disguise themselves and had a splendid time “undercover.”

Baldwin was very shocked to receive the invite. He said:
Jackie Kennedy wants to go on a date with me? Are you kidding?
The actor didn’t disappoint as Jackie called Simon next morning to rave about him. The singer wrote:
First thing next morning, Jackie called to tell me what a magical evening it was, how divine Alec was, and how important she felt it was to think and act and cavort like a child now and again.
A few decades later, Baldwin fell for someone half his age as well. In 2011, the actor started dating a yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas. The couple got married next year.
Alec and Hilaria now have 4 children together and in September they announced they are expecting the fifth one.
The pair’s 26-year age gap has never posed any issues for them. Despite being happily married, we are certain that Baldwin will never forget that one time he wooed the former First Lady.
