5 Hard-To-Digest Foods That People Usually Eat

Not all eating habits are equally bad or good. Sometimes our diet routinely consists of food that not only leads to excess weight or constipation, but also is not digested by the stomach at all. We simply don’t know about most of these products, even though we consume them every day! Watch out, these are the secret enemies!

1. Highly processed food

Everyone knows about the dangers of chips and crackers. It turns out that the list of universally favored snacks that are difficult or absolutely impossible to ferment in the stomach is much longer. It includes frozen meals, candies, and even oatmeal, the beneficial effects of which don’t leave any doubt. All of these products contain trans fats, additives, and are processed in nitrates and acids to retain shape and lengthen storage time. Needless to say that this chemistry is too aggressive for the stomach.

2. Bran and whole grain
