2018 Inductees For The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame: Nina Simone, Bon Jovi, And Three Other Bands

For more than 25 years, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has been celebrating the best artists of the genre. These people made their impact on culture, society, and have raised many questions about the meaning of life.

The officials have announced five inductees of 2018 that will join other legends. Two American rock bands Bon Jovi and The Cars, two British bands Dire Straits and The Moody Blues, and of course, the great Nina Simone.

Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is a world-famous rock band from New Jersey led by the handsome Jon Bon Jovi. Their induction into the Hall of Fame is a bit overdue, considering their popularity. Is there a person that doesn’t get the chills once they hear the beginning of Living on a Prayer?

Hailing from Boston, The Cars are a true new wave rock band with their recognizable synth sound. In the course of their long career, The Cars have sold 26 million copies in the United States.

Dire Straits

Their melancholic sound has made their fans feel exalted for decades. The boys from London entered a lot of different flavors into rock, including jazz, folk, and blues. Their songs Money for Nothing and Sultans of Swing have since become one of the easiest to recognize on the radio.

Pioneers of progressive rock, The Moody Blues should have a place on every Rock & Roll list, hall, or chart. It is almost incomprehensible how one night in Birmingham, where the band was formed, could have changed rock so much. Nights in White Satin is a modern era symphony, and you would be doing yourself a favor by playing it right now.

Nina Simone

The extraordinary jazz diva with a beautiful voice and flawless timing to make the music simply capture the soul. It would take more than words to describe Nina’s free spirit and her energy that managed to literally change the world. Singer, songwriter, pianist, social activist – this a true legend.
